1959 - 2020

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Eleanor Scott announce that she passed peacefully away at her home in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL after a 4.5 year battle with cancer, at the age of 61. Eleanor was a member of the SCNL Board of Directors, Thistle Club - St. Matthew's Presbyterian Church, Volunteer for the Heritage Society, and Data Specialist for Skate Canada. She was a past member of the Sparkling Blades FSC Board of Directors, Central Region Figure Skating Board of Directors, and Volunteer for the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Eleanor is predeceased by her parents, Jack and Joyce Scott. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her son, Mark of Trois-Rivieres, QC, and daughter, Heather (Trent Hunter) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL. Also leaving to mourn are her brothers, Banks, Jim, and Edward Scott, sisters, Margaret Scott and Beverley Clarke, and grandchildren, Catherine Scott and Ethan Hunter.

July 3 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
We will be at the house on 17A Prices Ave to receive family and friends

No flowers by request. Donations may be made in her memory to the Lionel Kelland Hospice. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jim Maidment of Central Funeral Homes.

I am in shock as well. Condolences to her family. She was a beautiful person. A very kind and gentle soul for sure. Very easy to talk to. Had many conversations with her during tax seasons about the things of life. Rest easy my friend.
