Obituary for Florence Mary Bursey (Fillier)

Florence Mary Bursey
(January 31, 2020)
Although our hearts are broken to lose a dear wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, we rejoice in a wonderful life of 91 years.
Florence was born in North River, Conception Bay to William and Jessie Fillier. She was pre-deceased by siblings, Walter (Anne), William (Jean), Elizabeth (William), Gorden (Florence) and Arthur (Marjorie).

The beloved wife of Don for 69 years. Much loved mother of Linda, Walter, Diane and Robert (Rob).
Mother-in-Law, known lovingly as Flossie, to George, Larry, Christine and Deanie.
Nan to George (Angel); Craig (Lynne); Cory (Nicole); Gerald (Lorna); and Robyn (Luke).
Nanny B. to Nathan, Sylvie, Clara, Cecile and Caterine; Chloe; Cole and Claire.
Also mourning her loss, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews and friends.
Florence will be remembered as a wife and mother who loved nothing more than having all of her family around. A woman of great faith who loved her God and her church. She will also be remembered for her quick wit; her card playing ability; expert knitting and completing the puzzles in the Downhomer magazine. How we will miss the laughter.
