Obituary for Frank Sterling King

Frank King
1951-2022
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Frank King announce his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Center in Grand Falls-Windsor on November 25th, 2022 at the age of 70. Frank was a member of the Salvation Army Church and retired from Abitibi Consolidated.
Frank spent 25+ years working for Abitibi Consolidated. His love for the woods and outdoors could be seen in everything he did. He loved moose hunting, fishing, and going out in boat. He spent a lot of his time in his shed on his wood working and turning junks of wood into unique treasures. Frank was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. You can count on one hand the amount of people that he didn't help in his small community. He was jack of all trades and very rarely turned away from fixing something he knew nothing about. Frank loved his family and grandchildren dearly and was very proud in everything they did and accomplished no matter how small. His wit and funny sayings will be missed. Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
Predeceased by his parents Charlie and Doris King, sisters Kathleen Walsh, Maxine King, and Mary King, as well as his grandson Michael Frank King. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his loving wife, Linda King, sons Corey King (Roberta) of Grande Cache, AB and Bradley King (Paula) of CBS, NL and Lorna King (Andrew) of Penniac, NB. Frank also leaves to mourn sisters, Audrey (Bruce) Parsons and Jean (Roy) Lacey, brother Dexter (Gale) King and his grandchildren, CJ & Morgan King, Jordan Coish, Anderson & Charlie Dorcas. Also leaving to mourn are, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a large extended family.
On Tuesday, November 29th at 2:00p.m. Major Lacey will conduct the funeral service at Jackson’s Cove United Church, internment will be at the Harry’s Harbour Cemetery. Urn bearers will be his children, Corey, Bradley & Lorna King.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Julia Caines of Central Funeral Homes.
