It is with great sadness that the family of the late Frank Gilbert Sheppard announce his passing at the A.M. Guy Memorial Health Centre in Buchans, NL on October 8, 2022 at the age of 92. Frank was a member of the Salvation Army. He retired from ASARCO. Predeceased by his wife Marjorie; father Frank Sheppard; mother Melinda Sheppard; great-granddaughter Samantha; grandson Gary; siblings Grace (Bass), Tom (Jean), Violet (Gilbert), Susie (Bob), Harvey (Lillian), Sadie, and Berdon. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his sons Wayne (Judy) of Campbell, BC, Garry (Shirley) of Millertown, NL, Dennis (Sharon) of Brighton, NL, Terry (Barbara) of Rocky Mountain House, AB, Barry (Jackie) of Calgary, AB, and Derek (Paula) of Chestermere, AB; daughters Debbie of Halifax, NS, Joanne (Fred) of Millertown, NL, Paula (David) of Calgary, AB, Tammy (David) of Buchans, NL. Also leaving to mourn are his brothers Jack (Florence) and Dave (Jean); 25 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Captain April Ward will conduct the funeral service at the Millertown Community Church on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be at the Millertown Community Cemetery. Pallbearers are Wayne, Garry, Andrew, Terry, Trevor, Derek, Barry, and Dennis. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kellye Waterman of Central Funeral Homes.
