Obituary for Frazer Harold Warr

The family of the late Frazer Harold Warr are saddened to announce his passing at the Springdale Retirement Home on April 21, 2024 at the age of 73.

Frazer was born on July 15, 1950 to George and Phyllis Warr of Springdale, NL. He was a hardworking carpenter who had his hands in building many homes, schools, etc. in Springdale and the surrounding areas. He worked at Yates Boat Yard in Springdale, Hope Brook Mines and Labrador over the years as well.

As his health slowly began to decline over the last number of years he decided it was time to move from being on his own to the Springdale Retirement Living Home, which was a very big step for him. He loved to go for his drives around town and drop in for a coffee at Tim’s or Robins.

Frazer was predeceased by his parents, George and Phyllis Warr; his sisters, Bonnie MacDonald and Naida Feaver and his nephew, Perry Warr.

He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, Ruth and her children: Kim (Rodney), Cynthia (Corey), Steven (Dinah) and daughter Nikita Whelan. He also leaves four grandchildren: Sarah, Courtney, Cristen and Mathew; six great grandchildren: Mason, Joel, Theo, Carter, Luca and Ava.

Also mourning his passing are his brothers: Francis (Judy), Calvin (Barb), Dennis (Dianne), Dean (Debbie) and Lorrie (Diane); his sisters: Shirley, Donna (Rob), Trudy (Brian), and Lorna (Craig) as well as extended family and friends.

Gone, but not Forgotten.
