September 13, 1940 - November 23, 2022
It is with sad hearts that the Healey Family announces the death of their brother Frederick John Healey. Fred passed away at the James Paton Memorial Hospital in Gander, NL on Wednesday morning, November 23, 2022 at the age of 82 years.
Fred was predeceased by his baby brother, Lester and Fred’s parents, Philip Healey and Beatrice (Pritchett) Healey.
Fred leaves to mourn his very dear and faithful friend, Jessie Gould from Gambo. As well, Fred leaves to mourn his children: Deborah, Elizabeth, Michelle, and Len (Kelly); his six brothers: Roy (Patricia), Den, Phil (Madeline), Terry (Linda), David (Doreen), Edward (Theresa); and his only sister: Theresa (John). All are very saddened by Fred’s passing. There are many grandchildren: Shea; Andrea and Stephen; Nick, Alex, Max, and Rhianna; Samantha, Melissa, Madison, and Matthew; and great-grandchildren Owen and Addison; Ryan and Melody.
A sincere thank you is extended to Fred’s soulmate and devoted friend, Jessie Gould. Fred found peace, contentment and true friendship in Jessie during his fifteen years in Gambo. The Healey Family is forever grateful to Jessie.

Cremation was arranged through Stacey Funeral Home, Gander. A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday July 8, 2023 at 2:00 pm at St. George’s Anglican Church, 436 JR Smallwood Blvd, Gambo, NL. Interment will take place on Monday July 10, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Grand Falls-Windsor Union Street Interfaith (Roman Catholic) Cemetery under the care of Central Funeral Homes, Grand Falls-Windsor.
