We have many great memories of Shoe that will always be with us! His great humour, recitations, & beautiful smile made him the wonderful man he was! He asked Butch to come to GFW to play guitar & it was an unforgettable night! Please know what you hold on memory is yours forever... God Bless...RIP our dear

Condolence: I have so many lovely memories of George, and each one of them puts a big smile on my face. I can practically hear his voice in my head telling a story. He was a beautiful man and I know he will be deeply missed. Thinking of you all during this time.

Condolence: Leah, Susan and the Mercer family. I was so saddened to hear of George’s passing. I first met him when he was attending Trades School (CONA) in Seal Cove, CBS in 1970. I have many fond memories of him and we shared lots of laughs. I’ve run into him periodically over the years and he always had that million dollar smile and the mischievous twinkle in his eyes. Salt of the earth kind of guy. May his gentle soul Rest In Peace.
