“ENA” GEORGINA RIDEOUT (DICKS)
1939 – 2019
Passed away suddenly on Friday, March 22nd, 2019 at the Green Bay Health Care Center, Georgina (Ena) Lucy Rideout (nee Dicks), aged 79, formerly of Springdale. Predeceased by her parents, Dorothy and Allan Dicks; her husband Ford Rideout; her brothers Merlin and Albert Dicks and her sister Roma Jean Dicks. Left to celebrate her life and mourn her passing are her partner, Roy Burton; and her two sons Terry (Fay) and Dominic. She will be sadly missed by her two grandchildren, Corey (Mattea) and Ashley (Kaetan) Waghmare; as well as her three sisters; Linda Whissel, Pansy (Bill) Hamilton and Wanda (Ed) Broderick; and her two brothers, Gerald Dicks and Roger Osmond (Christine). She also leaves to mourn a large circle of cherished relatives and friends. Visitation to take place at Central Funeral Homes in Springdale on Sunday, March 24th from 7-9 pm. Rev. Rachel Robinson will conduct the funeral service at Central Funeral Homes in Springdale on Monday, March 25, 2019. Interment will be held at the Grace United Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the NL Chapter of the Canadian Hemophilia Society.
