Condolence: To all of the Pinsent family, Rick and I were so sorry to hear of Harry’s passing. He and Dot were amazing neighbours, always enjoyed our chats and of course all the veggies, plums and strawberries passed over the fence. We stopped by in August to visit him and listened to a few more of his amazing stories. So glad we took the time, he was delighted! Thinking of you all at this time of loss and may your memories become treasures.

Condolence: I was so sorry to hear of Harry's passing. I got to know Harry as he was a good friend of my Dad, Silas. I realized rather quickly the reason why Dad befriended this man. He was kind, gentle, wise and a true gentleman. Over the years I would come in contact with him on an periodic basis and I always enjoyed our conversations. Of course he talked of Dad regularly and as such we shared many stories. Our Town is certainly worse off with the loss of this wonderful person.

Condolence: Blaise, Jackie and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Your father was a wonderful man and brought much joy to all the downtowners, especially when going to the Co-op. My dad would often come home discussing his conversation with Harry that morning. As a little boy, my son was lucky enough to meet your dad while he was with his poppy. The Pinsent family were all known in our area and very well thought of. I hope that the memories you have bring you peace at this time. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Condolence From: Robert Garsnell
Condolence: I have never met you but know that your service and sacrifices are appreciated by many. Condolence to your family and friends. Rest in Peace and GOD SPEED High Flight by John Gillespie Magee, Jr. Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings; Sunward I’ve climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth Of sun-split clouds, — and done a hundred things You have not dreamed of — wheeled and soared and swung High in the sunlit silence. Hov’ring there, I’ve chased the shouting wind along, and flung My eager craft through footless halls of air . . . Up, up the long, delirious burning blue I’ve topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace Where never lark, or ever eagle flew — And, while with silent, lifting mind I’ve trod The high untrespassed sanctity of space, Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.
