It is with great sadness that the family of the late Harvey Joseph Oldford (Sr.) announce his passing at the Carmelite House in Grand Falls-Windsor on April 13, 2024 at the age of 94. He was predeceased by his wife Jane Marie Oldford (nee Mulroney), his mother, Maisie Oldford (nee Butt), his father, Thomas Oldford, his brothers Woodrow and Roy, and his sister Edith. Left with fond and loving memories are his sons Harvey (Jill), Randy (Sylvia), Jerry (Ann Marie), Ross (Terrilynn), and his daughters Judy (Tom), Ruth (Robert) and Rosalind (Fabian). Also left with so many fun loving memories are his 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Harvey worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for 42 years with Penney Paving, retiring at the age of 75. He loved to play pool and crib, go to the cabin, and most of all, spend time with his family. He was a kind, gentle, funny man who always found a way to make others smile.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kellye Waterman of Central Funeral Homes.
