IVAN DAWSON OSMOND
1935 – 2020

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ivan Dawson Osmond announce his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on March 7, 2020 at the age of 85. Ivan was a member of the Memorial United Church, Royal Canadian Legion Branch #12, and the Grand Falls Golf Club. He retired from Abitibi-Price. Ivan is predeceased by his son, Craig, parents, Howard and Pearl, sisters, Lucy and Ethel, in-laws, Bill and Joan Peddle and Carl Cash, and parents-in-law, William and Myrtle Peddle. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife of 59 years, Edna Peddle, and son, Paul (Sylvie) of Gatineau, QC. Also leaving to mourn are his grandsons, Isaac and Jude, brother, Roland (Joan), sister, Amanda, sisters-in-law, Ada (Bill) Greeley, Ivy, and Pats (Michael), and brother-in-law, Ralph Peddle. Rev. Royden Reynolds will conduct the funeral service at the Memorial United Church in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. Urn bearer will be his son, Paul. Donations may be made in his memory to the Memorial United Church Building Fund or the Lionel Kelland Hospice. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jim Maidment of Central Funeral Homes.
