Obituary for James Lewis Taylor

It is with great sadness that the family of the late James Lewis Taylor announce his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on January 12, 2023 at the age of 82. James was a member of the Anglican Church for many years, and a former member of the Loyal Orange Lodge, Burnt Islands. James is predeceased by his mother, Lillian; grandfather, Samuel; and grandmother, Sarah. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife of 59 years, Mary Jane; and daughters Wanda-Lee (Keith) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, Melodie (Ambrose) of Halifax, NS; and Charlaine (Terry) of St. John’s, NL. He was a second Dad to his nephews Ronnie and Darcy. Also leaving to mourn are his grandchildren, Shane (Lizz), Weston (Adele), Beth (Richard), Melodie (Dan), Tristen (Emma), Nicholas, Jamie, and April; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Liam, Jeffrey, Rylan, and Lucas; and a large circle of sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was loved by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. Rev. Robin Trevors will conduct the funeral service at Central Funeral Homes Chapel on Monday, January 16, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Michael Goodyear of Central Funeral Homes.
