Obituary for Jean Louise Snow (Brown)

JEAN LOUISE WOODMAN SNOW (NEE BROWN)
1923 – 2020

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jean Louise Woodman Snow (nee Brown) announce her passing at her home in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on August 17, 2020. Jean was a member of the United Church Women, Masonic Ladies, and was a Red Cross volunteer and a Hospital Auxiliary volunteer. Jean previously worked with the Buchans Mining Company. She is predeceased by her husband, Arthur Snow, parents, Hannah and Cyril Brown, brothers, George and Cyril, sister-in-law, Beatrice, and niece, Verna Rothbury. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her sons David (Julie) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, and Derrick of Oshawa, ON. Also leaving to mourn are her grandchildren, Matthew (Laurie), Heather, Richard (Amelia), Lacey Burtt (Scott), and Stephen, great-grandchildren, Matthew, Marcus, Lillian, Carter, and Keira, special friends, Thelma Green and Kim Brown, along with a large circle of family and friends. Rev. Kim Waite will conduct a private family service at Central Funeral Homes Chapel. Interment to follow at the Interfaith Cemetery, Grand Falls-Windsor. No flowers by request. Donations may be made in her memory to the Memorial United Church. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Michael Goodyear of Central Funeral Homes.
