JESSIE MACGREGOR MERCER
1926 – 2020

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jessie MacGregor Mercer (nee MacKinnon) of Cumlodden in the county of Argyll, Scotland announce her passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on February 23, 2020 at the age of 93. Jessie is predeceased by her husband, Harold Mercer, daughters-in-law, Kay and Monnie, and son-in-law, Pete Kelly. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children, John Mercer (Betty) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, Linda Morgan (Walt) of Bishop’s Falls, NL, Sharron Arnold of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, Victor Mercer (Cindy) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, Dennis Mercer (Gayle) of Kingston, ON, Charles Mercer of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, Scott Mercer (Daphne) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, Mhairi Maillet (Conrad) of Mount Pearl, NL, and Duncan Mercer (Barbara) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Rev. Robin Trevors will conduct the funeral service at Central Funeral Homes Chapel in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at the Interfaith Cemetery, Grand Falls-Windsor. Flowers gratefully accepted by the family. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jim Maidment of Central Funeral Homes.
