1941 - 2022
The Stacey and Pynn families are sad to announce the sudden passing of their beloved brother, brother in law : John Walter Stacey at the age of 80.
John was predeceased most recently by his loving wife Eva Bernice Pynn Stacey and never recovered from the loss of his best friend.
John was born in London, England to John Wallace and Daisy Hilda Stacey March 4, 1941 and is predeceased by his parents and sister Linda.
John and Eva lived and worked in England until they retired and moved back to Eva’s hometown of Grand Falls Windsor Newfoundland in the 80’s.
They loved to travel and saw many places together but were most happy together at home.
John is survived by his brother Christopher Stacey(wife Lorraine) and niece Anna, brother in law David Large, nieces Nichola, Emma Daisy and nephew Joel all from England.
In Newfoundland and Nova Scotia left to mourn are sisters in law Betty Pynn Wells, nephew Jeffrey and families
Margie Pynn, nephews Robert and Steven and families
Maureen Pynn, nephews Todd, (wife - Michelle and great niece Laura) and Marc
Gary Pynn
As well many dear friends will miss Johns quiet demeanor and smile.
The families would like to thank the doctors and healthcare staff at Central Newfoundland Regional Health Authority for the care provided to John in the last two months and through Christmas.
As per Johns wishes he will be cremated and ashes from both him and Eva sent to England for burial.
