KENNETH JOSEPH BARNES
1931 - 2019
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Kenneth Joseph Barnes announce his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, on May 18, 2019, at the age of 87. Kenneth was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He is retired from Newfoundland Power. Kenneth is predeceased by his wife, Doreen Sylvia Barnes, his parents, all his brothers and sisters, and his daughter-in-law, Hazel Barnes. He is leaving to mourn his sons, Kenneth Barnes Jr. of Ignace, ON, Rex (Debbie) Barnes of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, Paul (Suzanne) Barnes of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, and John Barnes of Guelph, ON; and daughter Michelle Barnes (Louis Lawrence) of Paradise, NL. Also leaving to mourn 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, along with many relatives and friends. Father Joseph Uy will conduct the funeral mass at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Monday, May 20, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Michael Goodyear of Central Funeral Homes.
