LEO GERARD “FUDD” MAHER
1943 - 2019

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Leo Gerard “Fudd” Maher announce his passing at his home, surrounded by his loving family, in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on November 23, 2019 at the age of 75. Leo worked at Abitibi from 1969 to 2009. He is predeceased by his parents, John and Julia, and his brother, John. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife, Selma Maher (nee Curtis), sons, Kenneth (Lori) of Havelock, ON, and Dennis (Tracey) of Flatrock, NL, and foster daughter, Elaine Strowbridge-Yacey. Also leaving to mourn are his brothers, William (Lydia) and Michael, sister, Martha (Helger), grandkids, Matthew, Nicole, Aiden, and Gavin, and cats, Bear and Baby Cloud. A private family service will take place at a later date. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jim Maidment of Central Funeral Homes.
