Lewis was known for working hard & a heart of gold, two of them combined made him a man many were proud to know and work a long side, whether it be in the woods working as a mechanic, cutting wood, underground in the mines, or at home with his family. He was a man of many talents, Lewis & Joyce married in 1971 and began their life together. Lewis worked for many years in the woods as a mechanic and a few more in the mining industry, when he was home you could be sure to find him either still working or likely in the great outdoors doing all it had to offer, hunting, fishing, boating, berry picking, salmon fishing, cutting wood, and fixing anything anyone needed him too!! Lewis along side his wife did it all. Since her passing in 2022, Lewis’s life changed and it wasn’t easy living without his best friend, he got the news his cancer returned shortly after & it went from there, he put up a good fight & like always you could count on him for a laugh, even in the hard times. Lewis was strong right to the bitter end, even surprising doctors & nurses, but now he is no longer suffering and is together again with the lord and his loving wife.

His blue eyes, laughter, strong & loving heart will never be forgotten, his family & friends will cherish the memories of him forever.

The family would like to say thank you to The Staff at The Valley Vista for all the wonderful care, love and support and to the Doctors & Nurses who has helped in any way along his journey.
