Obituary for Lionel Murray House

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our loving father and grandfather, Lionel Murray House on February 2, 2019 at the age of 73. As an entrepreneur, Lionel was a successful fisherman, owning his own enterprise for over 40 years. Filling much of his spare time on the land, he was an avid outdoorsman, angler and marksman, and volunteered many years as a prominent Newfoundland Ranger. In later years, Lionel treasured most of his time with his three grandchildren, always entertaining and forever influential. He was predeceased by mother Myra Eisan and father Clyde House, brothers Clyde and Roger, and sisters Meta and Margaret. Left with fond and loving memories is his wife Betty House; daughter Suzanne (Garnet), Roxanne (Perry) and son; Quentin (Pauline); grandchildren Blair, Brooke and Kate; brothers Wilfred and Terry and sister Helen.

In celebration of his life, family and friends will gather at the home of his daughter Roxanne on Tuesday, Feb. 5th, 2019 from 2pm-4pm.

Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
