Also leaving to mourn are his close friends Dawson and Phyllis Rideout, a wide circle of friends and numerous “bonus” children that chose to call him Dad or Pop.

Lloyd was a trucker for over 40 years and raised his family as a devoted, hard-working loving father and husband. And he made sure to pass those values down to his family. There were many happy memories made at home, with Lloyd spearheading many laughs, pranks and food or water fights. He was very involved in the community of King’s Point for many years as a volunteer fire fighter and with the recreation board. When he retired, Lloyd and Sandra spent summers travelling from one end of Canada to the other to spend time with their kids, grandkids and great-grandkids.
You could be sure to always find him making the kids laugh, teaching us to make the best pot of moose soup, fussing with his boat, playing a game of crib and making sure we knew how much he loved us all. Not to mention making sure we all knew how to dance to a good waltz.
