LORNE JOHN WELSH
1947 - 2021
It is with great sadness that the family of Lorne John Welsh announces his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor on May 28th, 2021 at the age of 73 years.
Lorne was a member of the Salvation Army Men's Fellowship in Campbellton and a foster father to countless children over the years.
Lorne is predeceased by his parents Marjorie (Williams) and Carl Welsh. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his spouse Nina, 5 children, 4 grandchildren and very special grandson, Thomas Reid. Also leaving to mourn his brother, 5 sisters, and special friends Lloyd and Mary Grandy of St. John's, Tina and Derick Reid of Grand Falls, Margaret Perry, Violet Reid, and Bev Willemse and Tom Sargent of Grand Falls-Windsor. Cremation has taken place with a private family service at a later time. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Julia Caines of Central Funeral Homes.
