It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lorraine Dorothy (Toms) Foster announce her passing surrounded by her family at the Green Bay Healthcare Center in Springdale on April 21, 2024. Lorraine was a member of and thoroughly enjoyed the Springdale Curling Club and her sewing and tea time groups. Lorraine retired from Canada Post after 25+ years of service. She is predeceased by loving husband, Mervyn Roy Foster, parents Cyril and Stella Toms, brother in law Harry Reid, niece Lori Upward, nephew Stephen Reid; parents in law Audrey and Roy Foster, sister in law Karen Foster, brother in law Ken Foster, nephew Stephan Foster.

Leaving to mourn with fond memories are daughter Stephanie, son in law Barry and her treasured grandchildren Reed and Allie Spencer of Paradise. Also leaving to mourn are sisters Juanita Reid, Kay (Melvin) Upward, Janet (Ron) Gillingham; Brother Craig (Lorna) Toms; Barbara (Dorm) Chipp, Robert (Vida) Foster, Cyril Foster, Sandra (Lorne) Pynn and a very large circle of loving nieces and nephews and a large group of extended family and friends.

Aquamation has taken place and interment will be at the United Church Cemetery with funeral arrangements entrusted to Ken Goodyear of Central Funeral Homes. A celebration of her life open to family and friends will be held at the Springdale Curling Club at 4:30 and into the evening on Wednesday April 24th.
