Obituary for Madeline Hogan (McDonald)

MADELINE HOGAN
1929 - 2020

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Madeline Hogan announce her passing at the Carmelite House in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on September 20, 2020 at the age of 90. Madeline was a member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and retired from the Wooddale Tree Nursery. She is predeceased by her husband, Thomas Hogan; son, Fabian Hogan; and grandsons, Jay Healey and Adam Hogan. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her sons, Thomas Hogan (Bette) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL; and Alfred Hogan (Cora-Lee) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL; and daughters, Mary Healey (John) of St. John’s, NL; and Sheri Hogan (Harold) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL. Also leaving to mourn are her grandchildren, Matt, Danny, Joey, Jimmy, Michael, Lisa, and Crystal; great-grandchildren, Michael, Theodore, and Madeline (Maddie); along with a large number of nieces and nephews and a large circle of friends. Father Joseph Uy will conduct the funeral mass at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. Pallbearers are John Healey, Danny Hogan, Rick McDonald, Clarence Skinner, Alonzo Higgins, and Kirk McDonald. Interment will be at the Interfaith Cemetery, Grand Falls-Windsor on Friday, September 25, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Michael Goodyear and Julia Caines of Central Funeral Homes.
