Obituary for Margaret Queen Wells (Laing)
On March 7, 2021 Margaret Queen Wells tragically passed away at the Kingsway Retirement Living in Springdale at the age of 70.
Margaret worked as an accountant and did tax returns for various companies and for local people for many years.
She also ran her own boarding house in Mississauga, ON for twenty years before she retired and came back to NL to live. However, a short time later Margaret suffered a stroke that affected her physically and mentally.
She was a true defender of the faith and loved to read her Bible, sing old hymns and write poems and songs in her spare time.
The memorial service was conducted by Pastor Lindsey Foster at Central Funeral Homes in Springdale and interment at the Pentecostal Cemetery.
Left behind with so many memories are:
Husband: Malcolm
Sons: Delaino Wells of Springdale, NL, Trevor (Tracy Snow) of Mississauga, ON
Daughter: Tracy (John Pinguelo) of Brampton, ON
Also leaving to mourn are her:
Sisters: Rosie, Betty, Juanita (Leonard Wells), Linda, Winifred (Jim Penny)
Brothers: Leonard (Jean), Fred (Dorothy), Wilson, Raymond (Bonnie), Don, Melvin, Leroy (Ula), Jeffory
Grandchildren: Nikki, Justin, Jordan, Abigail
Great Grandchildren: Donovan, Rylee, Laila
As well as nieces, cousins and friends.
She will be sadly missed but will be gladly reunited with her Mom and Dad in Heaven.
