June 29, 1934 - November 23, 2020
With broken hearts and overwhelming sadness we announce the passing of our beautiful Momma and beloved Nanny. Mary passed away peacefully at the age of 86 and is now with her loving husband Wally (predeceased in 2017). Mary leaves behind her children, John (Barb), Jackie (Pat), Joe, Judy (Rico), Wally (Kornila) and Jim. She is lovingly remembered by her sister Bernadette (Fred) and her in-laws Ray (Audrey), Barb (Eric), Nita (Fred), Marge (Mel), Frank (Mary), Don (Betty), Randy and many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her parents, Jack and Nelly White, her brother Jack and sister's Hilda and Sheila. Mary was born in Grand Falls Newfoundland where she met and married her love. They moved to Vancouver in 1957. She enjoyed bingo, walks, knitting, dancing and everything Elvis. Mary had the perfect amount of wit and charm and was instantly loved by all who met her. You knew best not to cross her feisty side. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Ken, Colleen, Cristin, Olivia, Kailia, Zack, Emma, Akiela and Sione, whose lives she enriched with her songs, generosity and newfie humour. While we all mourn her here on this earth, we know many are rejoicing to see her now.
