Obituary for Mary Lenora Noseworthy (Bragg)

MARY LENORA NOSEWORTHY
1938 - 2018

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Lenora Noseworthy announce her peaceful passing at her home in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on December 25, 2018 at the age of 80. Mary was a member of St. Alban’s Anglican Church, which she attended regularly.

She is predeceased by her parents, James and Elizabeth Bragg, husband, Kevin, and daughter, Trish. Left with fond and loving memories are her daughters, Liz Noseworthy (Ed Corbin) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, and Nancy Corbin (Sean) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL. Also leaving to mourn are her brother, Fred Bragg, sisters, Daisy Sheppard, Audrey Foote, May Quigley, Blanche Burge, and Josie Lewis, six grandchildren, Dan Corbin (Megan Jackson), Angela Corbin (Brandon Bowring), Robyn Corbin (Justin Dewland), Adam Corbin, Dwayne Noseworthy, and Lucas Corbin, one great-grandson, Terry Bowers, step-great-grandchildren Iyla and Avery Bowering, a countless number of nieces and nephews, and a large circle of family and friends.

She was Fred’s last chance at having a brother, so he referred to her as his “brother Bob”. In church, the previous minister would affectionately refer to her as “The Old Grey Mare” (which she would chuckle at).

Mary enjoyed the time she spent with her family. She was in constant contact with all her siblings. Her last evening was spent with her daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandson.

Rev. Jeff Blackwood will conduct the funeral service at St. Alban’s Anglican Church in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment to be held at a later date. No flowers by request. Donations may be made in her memory to the Lionel Kelland Hospice.
