it is with great sadness that the family of the late Mervin Francis Lloyd Mitchell announces his passing at the Green Bay Health Centre in Springdale on August 8, 2022 at the age of 52.
He was predeceased by his father Ralph Mitchell; grandparents Peter and Caroline Mitchell and Mabel and Walter England.
Left with fond and loving memories are his mother Violet Mitchell; sisters Tina Saunders (Rodney) and Juanita Sharpe (Blaine); and brothers McKenzie Mitchell and Lyndon Mitchell.
Also leaving to mourn are his nieces Stephanie Sharpe, Mary Dunn and Kasey-Lynn Mitchell; nephews Mark Saunders, Breene Saunders, Ben Dunn, Logan Dunn and Gage Flagg; great-nephew Jace Sharpe; great-niece Piper Sharpe; and a large circle of family and friends.
Major Gerald Lacey will conduct the funeral service from the Salvation Army Citadel at Harry’s Harbour on Friday, August 12 at 2 PM with interment to follow at the Harry’s Harbour Cemetery. Pallbearers are McKenzie Mitchell, Lyndon Mitchell, Pleman Randell, Rodney Seymore, Roger England and Robert England.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Michele Janes of Central Funeral Homes.
