Obituary for Meta Geneva Rideout (James)
The family of the late Meta Geneva Rideout is saddened to announce her passing at the Valley Vista Senior’s Home in Springdale, NL on March 5, 2023 at the age of 80. Meta was a member of the Pentecostal Church of South Brook.
She was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Mildred James; her brother Don James and sister in law Louise James.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband Augustus Rideout; her daughter Ruth Higdon (Don); her sons Brent, Shawn (Cathy) and Franklin; her sister Elsie (Lawrence) Fly; brothers Lloyd (the late Joan) James and Jim James.
Meta also leaves to mourn her grandchildren: Lisa, Nicholas, Brandi, Brant, Danielle, Darren and Alexis and her 8 great grandchildren and well as extended family and friends.
Pastor Kerry Northcotte will conduct the funeral service at the Pentecostal Church in South Brook on Thursday, March 9 at 2 pm with interment to follow at South Brook Pentecostal Cemetery.
