Michael “Mick” Pearce
1951-2020
On Monday April 6, Michael “Mick” Pearce at the age of 68 left this world and all his pain and struggles behind. After a lifetime of illnesses and complications there is no more fighting, no more pain. He is resting easy and surrounded by the love of family and friends that have gone before him.
He passed peacefully away with his loving wife Helen by his side and the love of his children, grandchildren, siblings, family and large circle of friends. Mick was loved and admired by his family and friends for his strength, determination and never give up attitude.
He was able to live each day to the fullest and bring a smile to everyone he knew. His sense of humor and gift of gab will be missed by everyone. We hope he’s found a great game of cards.
Due to the Covid-19 restrictions the family will hold a memorial at a later date.
The family would like to send a special thank you to his sister Theresa whose gift of a kidney saved his life and gave him 12 years to spend with his family and watch his grandchildren grow. We are eternally grateful.
The family would also like to thank the staff at Twillingate and Gander hospitals for their care at this time and over the many decades of appointments and hospital stays. He was always appreciative and never complained.
