It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mike G. Poag announces his passing. Mike was an excellent craftsman, hard worker and loved fishing; but was incredibly devoted to his friends and family. He gave more then he received; whether it was a shoulder to lean on or a fishing buddy at five am. The amount of love and patience he had was out of this world. For many, many years, he was part of the Canadian Xtreme Paintball League; but his love of family came first and he was so proud of them all.

Mike was predeceased by his brother Peter Poag.

He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his partner, Jeanette Rice; sons Blair Hawke (Marami Alsammak) of Quebec and Trenton Lefebvre of St. Catherines, ON; daughter Megan Warford of Springdale; his parents Dave and Ann Poag, his brother Patrick and grandchildren James, Mia and Bricen.

Father Patrick Osuji will conduct memorial service at Springdale Central Funeral Home on Friday, December 8 at 3 pm which inurnment to follow at the Springdale Roman Catholic Cemetery..
