Obituary for Naida B Warr-Feaver (Warr)
Naida Warr-Feaver was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. She passed away Saturday December 4 2021 at the age of 67 following her 2nd courageous battle with cancer. Everyone who knew her understood just how hard she fought and we will honour her legacy by living our lives to the fullest.
The simplest pleasures in life brought joy to Naida but none greater than her family and close friends, particularly the children. She was a ‘Nanny’ to so many young kids, even as they grew into adults. Providing food, little treats and gifts to put a smile on their faces always brought joy to her heart. You had to look no further than her refrigerator door or all around her living room to see the dozens of photos of those important people in her life. Her caring and genuine personality was a quality you could easily see with any amount of time spent with her. She also liked a good game of cards surrounded in laughter and some friendly competition. She could banter back and forth with any takers and you always knew where you stood in the end. She was a force to be reckoned with and we loved her for it.
Naida is survived by her husband Dougald, son Chris (Melissa), grandchildren Layla and Brady, her ‘granddaughter’ Maci, fur baby Jasmine, sisters Lorna (Craig), Trudy (Brian), Donna (Rob), Shirley, & brothers Dean (Debbie), Lorrie (Diane), Dennis (Dianne), Calvin (Barb), Francis (Judy), Fraser, father-in-law Bob (Joyce), brother-in-laws Michael (Nicole), David (Melissa), sister-in-law June (Fred) and many nieces and nephews. Naida was predeceased by her parents George and Phyllis and sister Bonnie, brother-in-laws Frank and Mike, and nephew Perry.
