Obituary for Paul Arthur Barnes
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear loved one Paul Arthur Barnes on October 29, 2022 at the age of 61. Paul was predeceased by his wife Suzanne; mother Doreen; and father Kenneth.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his children Keith, Paul, Robyn (Keith), Abby (Brian), and Lisa (Bill). Also leaving to mourn are his 10 grandchildren; 3 brothers; his only sister; and many friends.
Paul was the middle child of 5, born in Grand Falls-Windsor on July 28, 1961. As a young man he moved to Ontario, and years later found the love of his life Suzanne. In 2006 they moved back to Newfoundland to continue their life’s journey. Paul was such a caring, giving individual that he dedicated his life to caring for his parents, and eventually his wife.
Everyone that knew him or knew of him loved his kind and gentle heart. Paul would do anything for anyone who asked without hesitation. He will forever be loved and missed by the lives of the people he has touched.
Cremation has taken place. There will be a small service at the cemetery on Wednesday, November 2 at 11:00 a.m. with a celebration of life to follow at his daughter’s home at 11 Southcott Drive; all are welcome to come and share their memories of Paul.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Paul’s memory to the GFW Food Bank.
