Obituary for Plena Pelley (Rowe)
Plena Pelley
September 16, 1948- May 17, 2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Plena Helen Rachel Pelley. She was born in Botwood September 16, 1948, to Alex and Alma Rowe. Plena married Everett Pelley December 3, 1971, and moved to Bishop's Falls, where she lived and raised her two children Alex and Lisa and helped to care for grandchildren, Brittany, Brianna, Tyler, and Victoria. Plena also leaves to mourn her son-in-law Jamie and her siblings; Margaret, Eric, Shirley, Gerald, Judy, Vera and Carolann.
She loved to have people around her and took her game of Skip-Bo seriously and was a pure and wholehearted lover of people. Plena loved her family and friends dearly and showed it in may acts of servanthood she often displayed for others. She leaves this world for peace with her savior she was unable to find here, we are left holding close our fond and loving memories of a wonderful woman, friend, daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother.
Flowers are graciously accepted, or donations can be made to the W(ROOTS) group. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Julia Caines of Central Funeral Home.
The visitation will take place at Central Funeral Home in Bishop’s Falls on May 21 from 7:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. Pastor Greg Patey will perform the funeral service at Calvary Pentecostal Tabernacle in Bishop’s Falls on Sunday, May 22 at 3:00p.m.
