Obituary for Raymond Erastus King
The family of the Late Raymond Erastus King are saddened to announce his passing at the Green Bay Health Care Center in Springdale on January 6, 2024 at the age of 92. Raymond was a member of the Salvation Army and The Masonic Lodge. He retired from Denison Mines, Elliot Lake, ON.
He was predeceased by wife, Mary; son Greg; infant daughter Trudy; son-in-law Cecil and granddaughter Sandy.
Raymond leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories: sons Lloyd (Karen) and Bruce (Heather); daughters Linda, Elsie (Alan) and Carolyn (Clayton). He also leaves to mourn 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and a large number of relatives and friends and Masonic Brothers.
Majors Joshua and Pauline Randell will conduct the funeral service at the Springdale Salvation Army Citadel on Wednesday, January 10 at 2 pm; with interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Springdale. Pallbearers are Rayfield Wells, Ray Pelley, Fred Pike, Rick Buchanan, Bruce White, Byron Noble, Jerry Upwards, Hardy Sparkes and Junior England (Honorary).
