Obituary for Richard Caravan
RICHARD CARAVAN
1957 – 2020
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Richard Caravan announce his peaceful passing at his home in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL at the age of 63.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are the love of his life for 45 years, wife Cora; daughters, Nancy Sampson (Joey) and Amanda; and his two beloved grandchildren, Alaina and Matthew.
Predeceased by his father, Stephen; brother, Ed; in-laws, Edna and Malcolm Boone; and brothers-in-law, Larry Boone and Sly Caputi.
Also leaving to mourn are his mother, Lillian Henderson; brothers, Dan, Bill (Marion), and Andy (Marilyn); brothers-in-law, David Boone (Joanne), Terry Boone (Bev), Paul Boone (Patsy), Kevin Boone (Lisa), and Rob Boone (Venus); sisters-in-law, Donna Mercer (Harold), Bernadette Boone, Gail Caputi, Debbie Fry (Phil), Kim Vincent (Jordan), Tina Walsh (Darryl); and a large circle of family and friends.
The family would like to acknowledge all the kindness and support shown throughout Rick’s illness.
A special thank you to nurses Ruth, Nicole, and Dr. Clancey. Your kindness to Rick and support to the family during the last days was invaluable.
As per the family’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Donations may be made in Rick’s memory to the Lionel Kelland Hospice.
