Obituary for Roland Hayward Stone
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Roland Stone announces his passing at the Valley Vista long term facility in Springdale Newfoundland on August 25th 2022 at the age of 88.
Wherever and whenever you seen Roland you were greeted with a smile and a tune. He was always singing. He enjoyed entertaining company playing guitar followed by a good lunch. All who knew him are left with fond memories.
Roland is predeceased by his wife Mary Stone and Parents James and Beatrice Stone; brothers William , Maxwell, Clifford, Albert, James and Gideon; Sister Mae.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are step daughter Barbara (Keith Burt), step son Tom; Grand daughters Erica (Kenneth) Chatman, Michala Jacobs and Tina Jacobs; Grand Sons Andrew (Crystal) Burt, Geordi Young, Terrence Young and Andrew Jacobs, along with many great grandchildren, a large circle of family members and friends.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear at Central Funeral Home.
