Obituary for Rosalie Melvina Blanche Warren (Laing)
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rosalie Melvina Blanch Warren announces her passing at the CNRHC in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on February 18, 2023 at the age of 77. She was a member of the Springdale Pentecostal Church.
She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Alice Laing, brother Leroy Laing and sister Margaret Wells.
Rose leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her sons: Steve Warren and Richard (Tianna) Warren and her daughter Melissa Warren all of Springdale, NL. She also leaves 8 Grandchildren: Stefanie (Terry), Anthony, Jordan (Meagan), Brandon, Brooke (Garrett), Allison (Adam), Zackary and Jeremy and 3 great-grandchildren, Liam, Scarlett and Ellie.
She also leaves to mourn her brothers: Leonard, Fred (Dorothy), Wilson, Raymond (Bonnie), Don, Melvin, and Jeffery; her sisters Winnie (Jim), Betty (Keith), Juanita (Leonard) and Linda; her sister in law Ula as well as special friends Jeanette Folkes and Doris Wyatt.
When she was healthy, Mom loved to go on long walks, sit out in the sun listening to gospel music, knitting and being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loves singing hymns and spending time at the cabin.
Pastor L. R. Foster will conduct the funeral service at the Springdale Pentecostal Church on Wednesday, February 22 at 1:30 pm with interment to follow at the Cherry Crescent Pentecostal Cemetery. Pallbearers are Steve Warren, Richard Warren, Zackary Warren, Leonard Laing, Jamie Milley and Jordan Pynn.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Michele Janes of Springdale Central Funeral Homes.
