Passed peacefully on February 21, 2019, Sarah Ford Ivany. Predeceased by her husband, Harvey Ivany, and her parents, Robert and Annie Ford.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Heather (Dwight Warr), Glenn (Roxana), and Mack (Shelley); Grandchildren: John Ivany (Leslie), Melissa Pisano (Charlie), Christopher Ivany, and Taylor Ivany; Great Granddaughters Carmen Pisano and Daphne Pisano; Sister Doris Simmons; Brother-in-law Tilson Ivany (Bridie); her nieces and nephews, who she loved dearly, and a large circle of family and friends.
Sarah was a Life Member of the United Church Women, a lifelong member of the Masonic Ladies Auxiliary, and recipient of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal in recognition of her volunteer work.
Visitation will be on March 24, 2019, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Central Funeral Homes in Grand Falls-Windsor. A celebration of her life will be held March 25, 2019, 2 p.m. at Memorial United Church, Grand Falls-Windsor.
