It is with great sadness that the family of the late Shirley Pardy announce her passing at the Grand Falls-Windsor Long Term Care Centre on August 27, 2022 at the age of 91 years. Shirley was a member of the Rebekah’s. She retired from Related Holding Ltd. in 2019. Predeceased by her husband Cecil Pardy in 1974; and parents George and Phoebe. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her sons Wayde (Joanne) and Byron (Shirley) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL and Trevor (Heather) of Toronto, ON. Also leaving to mourn are her grandchildren Christopher (Tayler), Adam, Joshua (Sabrina), Caroline, and Cameron; sisters Marjorie Pride of Toronto, ON and Yvonne Chafe of Port Royal, ON; sisters-in-law Doris and Beverly; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, and friends. Rev. Robin Trevors and Rev. Jeff Blackwood will conduct the funeral service from Central Funeral Homes Chapel on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Kellye Waterman of Central Funeral Homes.
