TED EDWARD BURTON
1932 – 2019
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ted Edward Burton announce his passing at the Valley Vista Seniors Home in Springdale on June 30, 2019 at the age of 87. Ted was predeceased by his wife Charlotte and son Junior; parents Elias and Dulcie and sisters, Marie and Mamie. Left with fond and loving memories is his sons-Richard Burton (Betty) of South Brook and Gilbert Burton (Joan) of Stephenville; daughters-Sheila Burton of Ontario, Dulcie Boyles of Alberta and Sue Burton (David) of BC. Also leaving to mourn are his grandchildren-Ricki, Rachael, Gerald, Clyde, Lori-Ann, Ryan, Melissa, Linda, Ann-Marie and Steven; 14 great grandchildren and his brother Hughie Morey as well as many other relatives and friends. Pastor Kerry Northcotte will conduct the funeral service from the Pentecostal Church in South Brook on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at 2:00 pm. Interment will be at the Pentecostal Cemetery. Pallbearers are Richard Burton, Gilbert Burton, Ricky Burton, Tex Burton, Larry Croucher and Archie Morey. Honorary pallbearers are William and Jacob Burton. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jim Maidment and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.
