1933 - 2019
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Teresa Mary Sampson announce her passing at her home in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on March 7, 2019 at the age of 85. Teresa retired from Wooddale Tree Nursery. She is predeceased by her husband, Roy, mother, Lena, father, Frank Downey, sisters, Anne and Selina (Collins), and brother, Cyril Downey. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her daughters, Carol (John King) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, Linda (Dennis Loder) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, Judy (Peter Barker) of Holyrood, NL, and Margie (John Keith) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL. Also leaving to mourn are her sisters, Marg Power and Gert Kelly, and brother, Joe Downey, 9 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be conducted at Central Funeral Homes Chapel on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Michael Goodyear of Central Funeral Homes.
