It is with great sadness that the family of the late Terry Moore announce his passing at the Carmelite House in Grand Falls-Windsor on March 10, 2023 at the age of 89. Terry retired from Abitibi in 1990. Predeceased by his wife, Patricia; parents, Bert and Winnie Moore; parents-in-law, James and Elsie Waugh; brothers, Warren (Loretta) and Robert (Florence); and sister, Vera. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his son Darren (Allison) of Grand Falls-Windsor; and daughter Pam King of Portugal Cove – St. Phillip’s. Also left to mourn are his grandsons, Thomas (Kendra) King, Robert (Amy) King, Adam Moore (Christine), and Jacob Moore; step-grandchildren, Zac and Sara; brothers, Al (Philomena), Charles (Doreen), John (Wavey), Gordon (Phyllis), and Bruce (Shirley); brothers-in-law, Robert Cushing and John (Hilda) Waugh; and numerous nephews, nieces, and many special friends.

The family would like to thank the staff of Carmelite House for the wonderful care and friendship they gave Dad over the past year.
Rev. Robin Trevors will conduct the funeral service on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow at the Interfaith Cemetery. Pallbearers are Thomas King, Robert King, Adam Moore, Jacob Moore, Charles Moore, and John Moore. Honorary pallbearer is Gordon Howse. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kellye Waterman of Central Funeral Homes.
