Obituary for Terry Wade Evans
July 28th, 1957-February 27th, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Terry Wade Evans of Pilley’s Island,
Newfoundland. We understand that to Wade the pain of staying on this earth was greater than the
pain of leaving.
Wade was the son of Dorothy and Samuel Evans of Triton, NL. He is survived by his daughter, Paige,
his brothers, Donald (Barbara), Joseph and Paul and sisters Christabel (Brian), Allison (Jamie) and Caitlyn
(Arvin) nieces, nephews and many extended family members who cared greatly for him.
Wade loved his little girl as he called her. He was so proud of her and would light up when talking
about Paige.
Wade loved the ocean and enjoyed it ‘on the water’ thus purchasing a home overlooking the ocean.
He loved people and enjoyed chatting up a storm and will be remembered for his outgoing and
friendly manner and sense of humour. Wade was very talented and loved to carve master pieces
with moose antlers. His love of music was evident with his guitar and harmonica playing.
No visitation or service will be held at this time. A family celebration of life will be at a later date.
