Thomas Sidney Granter
May 4, 1934 – June 5, 2021
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Thomas Sidney Granter announces his passing at the Carmelite House in Grand Falls-Windsor at the age of 87.
Tom retired from Abitibi after 39 years of service. He was a life member of the Kinsmen Club of Grand Falls-Windsor. He was a dedicated member of the Anglican Church being involved with the choir and singing sidesmen.
Tom loved Christmas time, making children young and old smile volunteering his time helping “Santa”.
Tom leaves to mourn with loving memories his wife of 66 years Elizabeth, daughter Dianne, sons Ross (Heather) Paul, Craig (Melinda), and Mark. As well as 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a large circle of family and friends.
Reverend Robin Trevors will conduct the funeral service at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to a charity of one's choice.
The Granter family wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many expressions of love, concern and kindness shown to them during this time of bereavement. A special thank you to the many staff of the CNRHC and the Carmelite House for the exceptional care provided to Tom.
