William Thomas Rowsell was born in Twillingate, NL on October 20, 1926 to Samuel and Jessie Rowsell of Rattling Brook. On March 30, 1959 he married Nina Winsor and resided at 205 Main Street, Springdale all their married life.

He was predeceased by wife Nina (2005) and daughter Linda (2005), brothers, Elmo (Jean) Rowsell; Sisters Marie (Bill) Matthews, Louise (George) Taylor and Blanche (Cyril) Vey; Brothers-in-law Austin Winsor and Richard Winsor and Sister- in-Law, Sylvia Winsor.

Left to mourn are sons Bill (Lisa) at Springdale and Jeff (Judy) at Elk Island Park, Alberta; Grandsons, Justin (Erin) at Halifax, Nova Scotia and Jamie (Alex) at Charlotte, North Carolina.

Tom was always self-employed; a lifelong famer, business owner, truck driver and contractor. He didn’t follow many sports but dearly loved “boxing” and old country music. He first voted for Confederation in 1949 and most recently in the early polls 2021.

He will be sadly missed by family and friends.
