It is with great sadness we announce that our mom, Wavey Winsor (Bennett) passed peacefully away with dignity and grace after a short illness. Her boy Travis and daughter in law Sheila held her hands to the end and helped her journey to heaven. Mom will forever be remembered as a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. Family was everything to her.

Predeceased by her husband Rex Winsor; parents Thomas and Florence Bennett; brother Byron Bennett; sisters Breta Chippett and Dona Henstridge.

Left to celebrate a lifetime of cherished memories are her children Dianne (Jim) Trumbull; Travis (Sheila), and Kent (Monique); grandchildren Stephen Winsor (Adrianne), Stefan Winsor (Samantha), her cherished Ella and her adored great-grandchildren Leah, Emma and Camryn.

She also leaves to mourn her siblings Ivan (Liz), Frazer (Pam), Joy Gardiner (Ken), Brooklyn, Roger (Cathy), and Brenda Noseworthy along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

Mom was a resident of Kingsway Retirement Home in Springdale and will be missed by the staff and residents – especially her good friends. A very special thank you to the staff and doctors of Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre floor 3A who treated her with such love and respect in her final few weeks. We will love you forever and a day. Fly high and sing sweetly with the angels Mom!
