I never had the good fortune to meet Mr Hat, but a very long time ago my boyfriend(now husband) went to the show and Mr. Hat came in with a lady and sat a few rows down from us. He helped his lady off with her coat and held her seat while she sat down. My first thought was "my what a gentleman." He had a look of love while he was getting her settled into her seat. He then asked her if she wanted a drink or popcorn. I do wish I had spoken to him that night and I have thought of him many times over the years and when ever he came to mind I smiled a little. Rest in peace you honorable gentelman.
