WILLIAM MICHAEL “BILL” HATT
1930 - 2019
It is with great sadness that the family of the late William Michael “Bill” Hatt announce his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL at the age of 88. Bill was a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus and retired from Abitibi-Price. He is predeceased by his first wife, Mary, daughter, Linda, grandson, James, sister, Hilda, and brother, Greg. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife, Mary Lindahl-Hatt, sister, Mary Stacey and her husband, John, and grandchildren, Krista, Karyn, and Kevin Etheridge. Also leaving to mourn are his step-sons, Denis Lindahl (Cathy) of St. John’s, NL, and Gerald Lindahl (Margaret) of Ontario, and step-daughters, Patricia Lindahl of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, Signe James (Dave) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, Lillian Bennett (Brian) of Halifax, NS, and Jean Down (Roger) of Corner Brook, NL. Father Joseph Uy will conduct the funeral mass at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Friday, March 22, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to be held at the Interfaith Cemetery, Grand Falls-Windsor. Pallbearers are Denis Lindahl, David James, Roger Down, Harvey Head, John Whalen, and Angus Gillis. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in his memory to Diabetes Canada. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Michael Goodyear of Central Funeral Homes.
