Obituary for Winnifred Beatrice Howell

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Winnifred Beartice Howell, (nee Green) announce her passing at the Central Nfld Regional Health Centre in GFW on December 12, 2023 at the age of 94 years. Winnifred (Winnie) was a member of the Badger United Church.

Predeceased by husband of 75 years, Leonard (2022), sons Theodore (Ted) (2020), and Blair (2014); daughters in law: Brenda Howell, Mabel Howell; parents, Issac & Ethel Green; sisters: Rose Mills,and Mary Chaisson; brothers: Ralph Green and Douglas Green; granddaughter, Lisa Karen Hann; great-grandson Loder; sisters-in-law, Margaret Green and Alice Green; and brothers-in-law, Cornelius Chaisson, Charles Mills, Gordon Holley and Neville Turner.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her sons, Carl (Marilyn) of Lethbridge AB, Calvin (Venus) of Badger NL, Dave (Marilyn) of Badger NL, Jeff (Cindy) of Badger NL, Bill (Karin)of Lewisporte, NL, and Charles of Badger NL; daughters: Lorna (Dave) of Trout River NL, and Karen (Harvey) of Norris Arm, NL.

Also leaving to mourn 21 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren; sisters Elizabeth May Holley and Ruth Turner; and many nieces and nephews.

Verley Roberts will conduct the funeral service at Central Funeral Homes Chapel, Grand Falls-Windsor on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 1:00pm. with inurnment to follow at The Badger Interfaith Cemetery.
