It is with great sadness that the family of the late Yvonne Thomas announces the passing of their sweet mother at the Valley Vista in Springdale on December 7, 2022 at the age of 84.
Yvonne was a member of Calvary Pentecostal church, South Brook, where she was dearly loved. She was a faithful servant to God always and was proud to let her light shine.
Yvonne was predeceased by her parents Andrew Burton and Susie Burton; stepmother Barbara Burton, husband Garland Thomas, infant daughter Alvy, brother Andy, and sisters Tina, Vivian, Shirley and Ruby.
Left with fond and loving memories are sons Neville and Jim (Mirna); daughters Justina (Scott), Sharron (Scott), Naida (Wayne) and Sue (Herb); sisters Clara and Joan, brother Arch Burton, and sister-in-law, Alvy Croucher. She also leaves to mourn her grandchildren Chad, Wendy, Phillip, Krystal Jyl, Jaydee, Chase, Sky, Serena and Markus as well as her great-grandchildren Caysie, Calleigh, Carson, John, Joseph, George, Chance and Carlie and special family friend, Arch Locke; as well as extended family and friends.
